the ability to be multitasking

hello lilies, its been a while. Oh am so sorry........... you know whenever its festive season, things just automatically slow down. You can imagine that today feels like saturday to me....lol...... Anyways am here to share a little message and its about women and the ability to be multitasking.
Before i got married i went to as many marriage seminars i could attend, i read almost all the books on marriage, recommended and others.........Then after i got married my seminars changed to "how to keep the romance flowing when the honeymoon is over, how to keep the house, take care of the kids and still have time for the husband. Oh it felt very easy until i had a little taste of what some women go through. I love a full house, so when, my little cousins, my younger brother and my brother in law said they were coming to stay in my house for the christmas holidays i didn't object. I thought to my self oh thats very cool. When they came, i realized that it wasn't as easy as i thought it will be. I was in the kitchen all day. No matter how i tried to make the food: breakfast, lunch and dinner as simple as can be, i always ended up staying in the kitchen for almost the whole day. Although everybody tried their best in helping around, it still wasn't easy.
Oh and before i forget, i still had a husband to take care of......( abi you know that men are like babies... they are our number one babies oh..).........
At this point i realized what a lot of women go through and i can tell you its not easy. Imagine if i had to go to work, probably come back late in the night, i will still have to take care of my guests, even if its for a little while. I concluded that life as a lady wasn't that easy at all, especial that of an african woman........
But then i remembered proverbs 31 and i realized that God has made us, women to be multitasking. e has given us the ability to multitask, that is what a man can never do. Most men can't do two things at the same time and concentrate..... but you find that a woman, can clean, cook, take care of the kids, go to work and still make sure she is there for her husband all in one day sometimes......
Today i says well done to all the women in the past, in the future, to our mothers, grandmothers, great grand mothers etc who showed us the meaning of "multitasking".
Never be discouraged as a woman, if sometimes you feel that you don't have a life, just remember this God has given you the most unique gift in the world..."the ability to multitask"
P.s: Read and meditate on Proverbs 31'.

Experience during the Experience

Hello lilies! Its been a while. Am so sorry we couldn't talk I have been so busy and guess what? I broke down from stress. Doctor's advice just rest and stay off the computer.... so I had no choice but to shut down for a while. Anyways I hope your glad that am back.... today I will like to talk about my experience during the experience. Everybody in Nigeria, saw at one time the advert of the experience...... my friend came into town and we both decided to go for the experience. All our efforts to get the VIP tickets....didn't work...although we started very late to lobby( pls dont mind us ohhhhh). Anyways we left the house at about 12.30 for a program that was to start by 7.pm. I thought we were very early, only to get there and find out that some people came there as early as 7 a.m. to get a space. From about 1p.m till 6p.m when the sun came down we were under the hott sun, and you no that for the past few days Lagos has been unusally hot, I guess its because of the so called global climate change. From 6p.m it was very difficult to get into TBS. but I found out that all those that had the VIP tags just showed their tags and they were allowed to go to their section. They already had seats assigned to them, so they did not have to come very early to keep a seat or something. In their section it was so easy to see the stage, the musicians and I learnt that sometimes you got the opportunity of speaking to the muiscians. OHH imagine me talking to Donnie.......lol.......They had a separate toilet which was clean and fantastique....it was actually very great and well organised for them... pease don't get me wrong for the general public they tried their best. .....
Now as for me, cos of the crowd trying to get in and the security fighting them off, it was impossible to get to the toilet or go get something to drink if one was thirsty. As at 4p.m i had the urge to ease my self but i couldn't move an inch, my dears I didnt ease my self till 8a.m. the following morning when I got home. But after all my experience the program was a hit...TBS was full to the brim and they had an over flow. I was so surprised. It struck me then, that when one honestly hears from God, and does what God says he should do, he/she will succeed.
For me I decided there and then that in life I was going to do VIP all the way. I love the VIP treatment, and that's what I want. God told Abraham that he will give him alll the good things of life and so will He do for me. I know that one of the ways to get VIP treatment is when you have money....i dont mean stolen money, i mean money you have worked hard for and its working harder for you...... this is one of my strong reason for wanting to be finacially independent.
In the book 'Rich WOman' ' by kim kiyosaki she said you can only achieve financial freedom, when you have a strong desire why you want to be Financially free....... for me I have a lot but one of my strong desire why I want to be fiancially free is be treated like a queen were ever i go to on the face of this earth..... what about you?
I have purposely left a lot of my strong reason, to give you an opportunity to tell me your reason for wanting financial freedom........
At this point i will say goodbye and i love you all, later lilies.
Notez bien: we will talk about financial freedom next time we meet.

Money! Money! Money!

Goodafternoon girls! What did you have for lunch today? Its lunch time and am sure everybody is craving for a nice, delicious meal this afternoon. As for me I have to hold my stomach tight and close my nose to the smell of food. Do you know why? Don't worry I will explain.... I hope you haven't forgotten about the reading room I told you about? That's were I am everyday chating with lilies world wide. Now in that reading room they have a restaurant by the side, their food always looks very apertizing, but why I dont go there to eat, the resturant is expensive oh.......lol.....am sure your laughing at me. So i keep my long throat to myself everyday until i get home, where i prepare something to eat.......okay enough about me lets talk about .....money...... again today.....you see I told you I will come back again to this topic and I sure did.......... okay now let's start.......
Like I said money is a very powerful tool. It is used as a medium of exchange. In my search for being my own boss, financial investment and all, I have a learnt a lot and am still learning.
I just found this out: according to a diagram by Kim Kiyosaki, there is a diffenrence between a self employed person and a business owner. Now in this diagram; which is called the CASHFLOW QUADRANT, there are four letters which represents different categories. We have the letters E,S,B,I.....
The letter 'E' stands for employee, 'S' stands for self-employed, 'B' stands for Business Owner and 'I' stands for investor. Now if I ask which category do you want to fall into?
We all know that an employee dosen't have a say where he or she works. He/she is at the mercy of his/her boss and they have to take and obey orders. For the self- employed examples could be doctors, accountants, beauticians....... now let's take the beautician, the beautician owns the salon and she works in the salon. If she falls sick for a week her salon doesn't run for that week. If she decides to take a vacation for a month, the salon doesn't run for the whole one month. She cannot leave her salon for anything, she has to be there for it to run.
The most interesting part is the B's i.e. the business owners............ For them weather they go on a vacation for one month or not their money works for them. They do not neccessary have to be there for their business to run. Wherever they are in the world their money works for them. As for the investor their money is even working harder for them...... now i ask again what category will you like to belong to??????????
As for me I love the idea of my money working for me, if it even works harder i won't complain.
Now we come to the question room: ' How do we get there? How do we be the B's or the I's in the world? How can we invest in a safe venture? Who is going to support me? Do you think I am cut out for this world of investment and money? For me money issues are left to my husband I don't bother about it? I am scared I will loose all my money? The questions go on and on.......
like I said earlier the most difficult thing in life to do; 'is to start something', be it a business, a family, a new job,........whatever it is difficult...........
For me a while ago I decided I was going to be my own boss. I won't tell you that it has been easy or I am now a muilt billionaire, no? Not yet but I will get there. The most important thing is that I feel fulfilled I have started following my dreams and goals....
Nothing good comes like magic trust me, it takes a while but it will definetly come. If you read the book of proverbs you'll find out that God loves the diligent and he rewards them.
Do not let procastination weigh you down, start now; whatever it is you want to do, just make sure its legal, Godly and it gives you joy.
Its been so nice talking to you once again, before I say bye i'll leave you with some woods of wisdom:

Respect!

Hello lilies, its so good to be able to chat once again. I love it so much and am sure you do. its our gossip time.....lol... anyways i said we will continue our discussion about money, but i have decided to put it on a hold for now, and lets talk about something else. Something very cruical i learnt about this morning and I can't help but sharing it with y'all.........
I have learnt that for a relationship to work, i mean a relationship between a man and a woman, there needs to be respect. Why is it that men crave for respect a lot? Why is it so important for a wife to be respectful to her husband, even when he has hurt her? because of the why's and why's and why's ....
i had to do a little research using my husband and i, wait a minute let me tell you a little about my husband. My husband is a very quiet man,and doesn't like to fight. Its so easy for him to say sorry even when he is not at fault......but there was one thing he said to me, after we had some little you know nowwwww, he said you can get anything in this world you want, if you will only respect me.
I asked him what he meant and he said,: if i know you respect me i can give you the whole world. If its possible i can bring the moon to you. He told me that men love to be treated with respect. Am not saying that you have to treat him like a tyrant or someone you are afraid of. No!!!!!!
I think what he just meant was that if women will stop treating their husbands like their younger brothers then they will be more happy at home. If they will just stop nagging, they will dwell in peace.....
It dawned on me then that, men crave for respect. That's how God created them......
Note this: if a man knows that his wife respects and believes in him he can accomplish what Metuselah couldn't accomplish........
A lot of times especailly during a quarrel, we as women talk a lot. Its common knowledge that we are prone to talking as women, in fact before our husbands say one word, we have said ten words in the space of a second. A lot of times our words are like arrows, shot only for the aim of destruction.
I was reading James 3 today and James said that the tongue is very small but very powerful. The tongue is what we use to praise God and rain abuses on man. This is not right..........don't forget this: 'anything said can never be taken back'. That is why it is very important to mind what we say to people, especially our husbands. If we talk less and listen more we will find out that we will have a more peaceful home, our husbands will see us as very respectful wives and delight in us.
Please let's learn to control how tongue. Join me in my campaign against talking too much.
you can do it. From today try to listen more and talk less'. Learn to keep quiet your mouth shut and please when ever there is a quarrel between your partner and you, don't highlight his faults. In fact listen for once and keep quiet, and when you do finally speak, talk in a very calm tone.
I hope i have been able to get through to you positively. Let this be our motto as lilies: talk less and listen more.
Do take care and have a lovely evening....let me give you a tip.......if your married, try something new today..............surprise your husband, and please let me know the outcome.
For the single ladies don't think i have forgotten you, dont worry you' re almost there.........try this.......start now to talk less and listen, it will be your best tool in marriage.
Goodbye and take care

Money! Money! Money!

Whats up lilies? How are you today & how did your day go? Interesting I suppose, cos mine was interesting, and dont worry I will tell you all about it. Before I left my house this morning, I asked God for favour. My itinerary for today was : go to the bank, fill my tank, buy my experience tee-shirt and then go to the reading room. (hellooooooo the reading room is where i usually chat). The bank was number 1 cos i had to make some transactions for my husband. As i got to the bank, long story started, but as God will have it I was able to complete the transaction. Secondly on my way to the bank all the fuel stations I passed had a queue, it was as though 'fuel scarcity' had returned in full force...I am so sorry I missed out the most interesting part of the story, on my way to the reading room LASTMA stopped me (Am sure you all know them). The guy started telling me of how I was going to pay 50k and then pay 20k for driving lessons for two weeks. After all the long grammer i just told the man that i didn't have that kind of money to spend. In fact what actually changed his mind was when I called him my friend, he was shocked. He told me that so long as he wears this uniform, people see him as the enemy. After everything we gisted and he got off the car, I gave him something though but that was because i wanted to and it was just his lunch........we even talked about Christ. God's favor is real........ Now back to the topic for today 'Money'. this five letter word is very strong. Its a medium of exchange and a lot of times its the key to walk into highly guarded offices.......if you know what i mean.
Questions have been asked, should a woman be rich? why is it that when a woman has money men shy away from her? the questions go on and on and on. Different people have their different views about it and i don't judge them for that, but for me I think a woman should be rich. I think a woman should be able to invest and be amongst the richest people in the world. I also believe that she can have all the fame, wealth and still have a family ie a husband and children. I believe that a man shouldn't feel threatened by the accomplishments of his wife

A book am reading, 'Rich Woman' by Kim Kiyosaki the wife of the famous Robert Kiyosaki of the 'rich Dad Poor Dad'....talks about women and investment. (i think all women should endeavour to read this book). In the forward of her husband, Robert said this: 'after complementing his wife, he said that obviously when he met her it was her outer beauty that attracted him first, but after their date he discovered that she was not just a pretty head but she had a brain.
The forward of Sharon Lechter, she said : ' you don't get married expecting to get divorced. Many women end up staying in unhappy and unhealthy relationships because of money'.
'in a job, the more successful you become, the busier you are, and the less time you have for other endeavors'.
'often it is that first step that is the most difficult. By taking control of your own financial future you will find the self-confidence to help you in all areas of your life'

All these highlighted points brings us to one direction...money and investement.
It is not wrong, or sinful to want to be rich and financial free as a woman. The good thing is that you can have all that and have a healthy family life. The beauty of investing and having your own thing is this: you are your own boss. how does it sound? am sure every body likes to be his own boss, as for me i can't wait to become by own boss. I can choose my work time. I can wake up anytime I want, wear what I like to wear and especially travel anytime I want to travel.
I will stop here for today and will continue tomorrow, but I want to ask you this question: ' what type of woman do you want to become? do you want to live this earth without any trace left of you or you want to be remembered? think of having money this way, it will make you feel less of a sinner....lol..... you can become one of the greatest philanthropists in the world. With money you will be able to donate 1million bibles in countries like Indian, food for the poor etc... that way you help spread the gospel.
Note: it is not a sin neither is it bad to want and love a beautiful life. Life is short. Enjoy all the good things of life. After all God told Abraham:' I will give you all the good things in life'.
Tata! and have a nice day.
